Hull City needs a miracle if they must stay on the Premier League

The Tigers were beaten 2:0 this afternoon at White Hart Lane, meaning only a win against Manchester united on the final day of the season will give Steve Bruce's side any hope of staying in the Premier League next season. They also need Newcastle to
fail to beat West Ham next weekend or Sunderland to lose at Chelsea. That could be a mission impossible for the tigers, but anyway in football anything is still possible!

Hull were playing particularly well in the first half at white Hart Lane, creating chances for Nikica Jelavic, who came close when he struck half a volley that hit the woodwork.

But Spurs who are 6 on the table shook off a sluggish start to put a run of 1 win in 6 behind them, and lay a claim to europa League spot,

Lamela made the first after 54 minutes, disguising a pass through the Hull full line, allowing Chadli to round Steve Harper and finish,

Mauricio Pochettino's men were not particularly in their free-flowing best, Mason show a touch of quality with a delicate chip over the visitor's defence that Rose caught first time to send it off the crossbar.

Hull city will need a final day miracle against 4th place United if they are to survive.

Nice work spurs!
