Nigeria's U20 team must braced up as Brazil name a very strong squad for the tournament


The Nigeria U20 team, the Flying Eagles will have to brace for a tough start at the 2015 edition of the FIFA U20 World Cup as their first opposition in Group E, Brazil, have released a strong squad for the tournament.

A statement released by the world football governing body, FIFA, revealed the full
squad of the Brazilian team was, including Andres Pereira of Manchester United.

Earlier in the week, Pereira was named Manchester United's Young Player of the Year in the U-21s category after they won the U-21 Premier League title.

Brazil, which has won five World Cups with one short of the record holder, is a major opponent that Nigeria has never been able to defeat in the U20 tournament.

Despite that, Head coach of the team, Alexandre Gallo, told FIFA.com that Nigeria is a threat to the Brazilians.

"Nigeria always cause us problems," Gallo said.

Also in the Brazilian Squad is Real Madrid striker, Jean Carlos, and Marseille midfielder, Alef Seventeen.
Nigeria will play the Brazilian team June 1 at 1a.m. Nigerian time. Nigeria is in Group E of the FIFA U20 World Cup with Brazil, Hungary and Korea.

The tournament will hold from May 30 to June 20.
